Quick Start Guide

This is a quick course on learning how to trade with VG-Markets.

How do you trade on VG-Markets?

You can trade CFD products by buying or selling. Opening a position on VG-Markets means you are speculating on the price movement of that underlying product. For example, if you expect the price of gold to rise, you buy that CFD product; conversely, if you predict the price of gold will fall, you sell that product. If the future movement aligns with your expectation, you can profit from it.

Furthermore, VG-Markets offers "Leveraged Trading". You can use leverage to trade more lots of the underlying asset with the same capital. Leverage magnifies both profits and losses.

This is also known as "Margin Trading". When you open a position, a certain balance from your VG-Markets account will be deducted as the initial margin.
