Bitcoin Nears $66K on ETF Inflow Recovery While Remaining Below Its 2025 Peak

Bitcoin rose 2.6% to $65,755.4 on Tuesday, reaching its highest level in two weeks as institutional inflows improved, according to Investing.com.

Factors Supporting Recent Inflows

Data from SoSoValue showed that spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows for a second consecutive week, totaling $75.7 million and $197.4 million over the past two weeks.

Several factors have coincided with the recent improvement:

  1. Recent price declines have coincided with renewed institutional inflows.
  2. Increased volatility in AI-related technology shares has also coincided with stronger interest in digital assets among some investors.

Other major cryptocurrencies also advanced, with Ether rising 4.6%, XRP gaining 4.6%, Cardano increasing 9.2%, and Solana adding 3.9%, although all remained below their recent highs.

Geopolitical Developments Remain in Focus

Markets continued to monitor developments in the Middle East, including ongoing tensions involving the United States and Iran, shipping risks around the Strait of Hormuz, and diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions.

Lower oil prices on Tuesday coincided with improved sentiment across some higher-risk asset classes, including cryptocurrencies.

Market Context

According to Glassnode data cited by MEXC Research, Bitcoin reached a record high of $126,000 in October 2025 before experiencing a significant decline.

At current levels near $66,300, Bitcoin remains well below its previous peak, indicating that recent gains represent a partial recovery rather than a return to prior record levels.
