Bitcoin Reclaims $80K. Fidelity Just Added $237M to the Bullish Case

Bitcoin is back above $80,000, and this time institutional money is starting to show up.

BTC recovered from its election-night drop below $76,000, climbing above $80,000 as US stocks rallied and risk appetite improved. The rebound was initially powered by short liquidations, but a fresh development has given bulls another reason to pay attention.

Fidelity purchased approximately $236.72 million worth of Bitcoin through its FBTC spot ETF, signalling renewed demand from investors.

That's an encouraging shift after several days of heavy ETF outflows. But one strong buying session does not yet confirm a sustained recovery.

$81,300 Is the Level to Beat

Bitcoin now faces its next major hurdle around $81,300, near its 30-day moving average.

  1. Above $81,300: The recovery could extend toward $84,800.
  2. Below $80,000: Selling pressure may return.
  3. Below $76,000: The bullish recovery scenario would weaken significantly.

For now, Bitcoin has regained an important psychological level. The next challenge is turning that rebound into a sustained move higher.

Institutional buying will be worth watching as closely as the price itself.
