Crypto markets are facing a mix of regulatory uncertainty and security concerns as Bitcoin trades around $63,600.
Boltz has temporarily suspended its Bitcoin swap service after reporting a sharp rise in AI-assisted hacking attempts, highlighting growing security risks across crypto infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Hashdex plans to liquidate its spot Bitcoin ETF after failing to attract enough assets. The fund holds around 225 BTC, with assets under management at roughly $14.3 million.
Regulation is another pressure point. Bernstein warned that a delay or failure of the US CLARITY Act could trigger another selloff across Bitcoin and the broader crypto market, although regulators could respond with faster rulemaking.
For now, security risks, weak demand for smaller Bitcoin investment products and uncertainty over US crypto legislation are keeping the market cautious.
