Resistance: $54.20 / $55.00
Support: $52.80 / $50.00
Silver has fallen below $53, hitting a new 2026 low as higher yields and renewed expectations for a December Fed hike weigh on precious metals.

The Fed kept rates unchanged at 3.75%–4.00%, but two officials voted for a hike. Markets are now turning to US PCE inflation for fresh clues on whether another rate increase could come later this year.
For silver, $52.80 is the first level to watch. Holding above it could give buyers a chance to stabilize the decline and push back toward $54.20.
If $52.80 fails, the next major psychological level is $50.
On the upside, a move back above $54.20 would be an early sign that selling pressure is easing. Until then, silver remains vulnerable to another leg lower if US inflation comes in hotter than expected.
