Bitcoin slipped to around $64,000, hitting a one-week low as traders turned cautious ahead of Wednesday’s U.S. CPI report.

Gold moved in the opposite direction, climbing toward $4,435 an ounce, its highest level since June 5.
Retail investors have also been showing stronger interest in gold, highlighting renewed demand for traditional safe-haven assets.
Bitcoin remains more sensitive to interest rates, liquidity and overall risk sentiment.
That makes the upcoming CPI report especially important.
A softer CPI could push the dollar and Treasury yields lower, potentially supporting Bitcoin and other risk assets.
A hotter CPI, however, could strengthen the dollar and keep pressure on crypto.
Bitcoin is now facing resistance around $66,000. A break above this level could improve its short-term outlook.
For now, traders are watching one key question:
Will Bitcoin rebound after CPI, or will investors continue to favor gold?
