Bitcoin Rebounds Above $63,000 As Fed Hike Fears Ease & Spot ETF Inflows Return

Bitcoin pushed above $63,000 during Monday’s Asian session, extending last week’s strong recovery. Softer U.S. June payroll data dialed back market bets on imminent Fed rate hikes, while renewed net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs lifted overall risk sentiment for digital assets.

The largest cryptocurrency held a 0.8% gain at $63,227.5 as of early ET, after touching a two-week peak close to $64,000 in the prior trading session. BTC posted a nearly 5% weekly gain, staging a sharp bounce from a 21-month sub-$58,000 low.

Cooler U.S. labor data stands as the core macro catalyst. Weak June Nonfarm Payrolls reinforced the view that the Federal Reserve will likely hold interest rates steady through the rest of 2026. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh further boosted risk appetite by noting sustained disinflation and reaffirming policymakers will stay data-dependent, prompting traders to slash pricing for additional monetary tightening.

Institutional demand signals have also turned more constructive. After weeks of consistent redemptions, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs swung back to net inflows, marking a clear stabilization in institutional participation. This turnaround offers vital support after Bitcoin suffered steep losses across June, driven by fears of prolonged tight financial conditions and profit-taking following the year’s earlier rally.

Market analysts warn the rebound’s durability remains in question, as muted trading volumes mean sustained upside relies on consistent ETF inflows and supportive U.S. macro data.

Market participants are closely watching June FOMC minutes and the key $63,000–$64,000 resistance zone for further directional cues.
