Cantor Fitzgerald Reaffirms Neutral Rating on Lucid After Company Denies Bankruptcy Rumors

Cantor Fitzgerald reaffirmed its Neutral rating and US$8.00 price target for Lucid Group (NASDAQ: LCID) after the electric vehicle manufacturer formally denied recent bankruptcy and going-private rumors in a regulatory filing. Lucid stated that the reports were "completely false" and said no special board committee had been established to evaluate such scenarios. The company also said advisory firm AlixPartners is focused on operational improvements rather than bankruptcy-related planning.

Cantor Fitzgerald's US$8 target compares with Lucid's US$4.62 closing price on July 14, while Baird maintained a Neutral rating with a US$6.00 price target. The difference reflects varying analyst valuation assumptions following recent market volatility.
